The Egyptian word for Osiris is Aus-Ra.<\/p>\n<p>The word Aus means <em>the power of<\/em>, \u0438\u043b\u0438 <em>the root of<\/em>. As such, the name Ausar consists of two parts: Aus-Ra, meaning <em>the power of Ra<\/em>, meaning the <em>re-birth of Ra.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The perpetual cycle of existence\u2014the cycle of life and death\u2014is symbolized by Ra (Re) and Ausar (Osiris). Ra is the living neter who descends into death to become Ausar, the neter of the dead. Ausar ascends and comes to life again as Ra. The creation is continuous: it is a flow of life progressing towards death. But out of death, a new Ra is to be born, sprouting new life. Ra is the cosmic principle of energy that moves toward death, and Ausar represents the process of rebirth. Thus, the terms of life and death become interchangeable: life means slow dying, and death means resurrection to new life. The dead person in death is identified with Ausar, but he will come to life again and will be identified with Ra.<\/p>\n<p>The perpetual cycle of Ausar and Ra dominates the Ancient Egyptian texts, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u0412 <em>\u041a\u043d\u0438\u0433\u0430 \u0432\u044b\u0445\u043e\u0434\u0430 \u0432\u043e \u0441\u0432\u0435\u0442\u0435<\/em>, both Ausar and Ra live, die, and are born again. In the Netherworld, the souls of Ausar and Ra meet [see illustration from the Papyrus of Ani, below] and are united to form an entity, described so eloquently:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>\u042f \u2014 \u0415\u0433\u043e \u0414\u0432\u0435 \u0414\u0443\u0448\u0438 \u0432 \u0435\u0433\u043e \u0411\u043b\u0438\u0437\u043d\u0435\u0446\u0430\u0445.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/egyptianwisdomcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ra-ausar.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-368 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/egyptianwisdomcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ra-ausar.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"341\" height=\"239\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u0412 \u0433\u043b\u0430\u0432\u0435 17 <em>\u041a\u043d\u0438\u0433\u0430 \u0432\u044b\u0445\u043e\u0434\u0430 \u0432\u043e \u0441\u0432\u0435\u0442\u0435<\/em>, the deceased, identified with Ausar, says:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>\u042f \u0432\u0447\u0435\u0440\u0430, \u044f \u0437\u043d\u0430\u044e \u0437\u0430\u0432\u0442\u0440\u0430.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>And the Egyptian commentary to this passage explains:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><strong>What is this?\u2014Ausar is yesterday, Ra is tomorrow?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the tomb of Queen\u00a0Nefertari (wife of Ramses II) is a well-known representation of the dead solar neter (god) as a mummiform body with the head of a ram, accompanied by an inscription, right and left:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/egyptianwisdomcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ec3-ch6-1-72c.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-876 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/egyptianwisdomcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ec3-ch6-1-72c.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"191\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>This is Ra who comes to rest in Ausar.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: center;\"><strong><em>This is Ausar who comes to rest in Ra.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Litany of Re is basically a detailed amplification of a short passage of Chapter 17 of The <em>Book of the Coming Forth by Light<\/em>, describing the merging of Ausar and Ra into a <em><strong>Twin Soul<\/strong><\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">[\u041e\u0442\u0440\u044b\u0432\u043e\u043a \u0438\u0437 <\/span>\u0415\u0433\u0438\u043f\u0435\u0442\u0441\u043a\u0430\u044f \u043a\u043e\u0441\u043c\u043e\u043b\u043e\u0433\u0438\u044f: \u041e\u0436\u0438\u0432\u043b\u0435\u043d\u043d\u0430\u044f \u0432\u0441\u0435\u043b\u0435\u043d\u043d\u0430\u044f, \u0442\u0440\u0435\u0442\u044c\u0435 \u0438\u0437\u0434\u0430\u043d\u0438\u0435 \u041c\u0443\u0441\u0442\u0430\u0444\u044b \u0413\u0430\u0434\u0430\u043b\u043b\u044b<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">]<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/egyptianwisdomcenter.org\/ru\/product\/egyptian-cosmology-the-animated-universe-third-edition\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">https:\/\/egyptianwisdomcenter.org\/product\/-\/<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/egyptianwisdomcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/t5ucaHf46z69jrM1YXqfpA.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/egyptianwisdomcenter.org\/ru\/product\/egyptian-cosmology-the-animated-universe-third-edition\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">https:\/\/egyptianwisdomcenter.org\/product\/-\/<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Duality Of Ra And Osiris &nbsp; Egyptian texts refer to Re and Osiris as the Twin Souls.
