From a distance, what we have learned about the pyramids may appear factual; but once we examine this information closer, it proves to be otherwise. This book is intended to undo many false perceptions about the Ancient Egyptians\u2019 pyramids.<\/p>\n

This book provides a fresh look at the interiors and exteriors of Egypt\u2019s masonry pyramids, theories of construction, their purpose and function, and the sacred geometry of their design.<\/p>\n

This book is a revised and enhanced third edition of the second edition (entitled Pyramid Handbook) which was an update of the first edition, Pyramid Illusions: A Journey to the Truth, by Moustafa Gadalla.<\/p>\n

This new third edition expands and adds to previous texts of the prior edition. We also added a large number of photographs that compliment the text materials throughout the book.<\/p>\n

This expanded edition of the book consists of seven fully illustrated parts, with a total of 18 chapters.<\/p>\n

Part I: Overview consists of two chapters\u20141 and 2, as follows:<\/p>\n

Chapter 1: The Background provides a short opening statement about the common \u201ctheories\u201d and the counterpoints, based on actual facts.<\/p>\n

Chapter 2: The Genuine Masonry Pyramids provides a list of the Egyptian pyramids that were built during the Fourth dynasty about 4,500 years ago.<\/p>\n

Part II: Pyramids versus Tombs consists of two chapters\u20143 and 4\u2014as follows:<\/p>\n

Chapter 3: Stepped \u201cPyramid\u201d of Zoser covers details of its super-structure and its underground chambers.<\/p>\n

Chapter 4: The Fictional Tombs covers the details of a typical Ancient Egyptian tomb and how totally different it is from the interiors of the Egyptian masonry pyramids of the Fourth Dynasty.<\/p>\n

Part III: Pyramids\u2014Functions & Forms consists of two chapters\u20145 and 6\u2014as follows:<\/p>\n

Chapter 5: The Pyramid Complex shows how the Egyptian pyramid was a component of a complex that was connected to other temples; and the differences in functions and forms between a pyramid and a temple; as well as the energetic proportioning of such structures.<\/p>\n

Chapter 6: Pyramid Power covers the form variations of the Egyptian masonry pyramids; and how such forms attract, maintain and channel cosmic energies.<\/p>\n

Part IV: Pyramid Construction Techniques consists of two chapters\u20147 and 8\u2014as follows:<\/p>\n

Chapter 7: The Flawed \u201cCommon Theory\u201dcovers the details of the Common \u2018Theory\u201d; the unidentified \u201csource\u201d of quarried blocks; the impossibilities of cutting and shaping the pyramid blocks; the impossible logistics of the fabricated ramps theory; the conveniently-ignored three immense Pyramids of Snefru; and a summation refuting the western-made \u201cCommon Theory\u201d.<\/p>\n

Chapter 8: The Material Facts covers Herodotus\u2019 accounts of pyramid construction; Egyptian molding techniques; the differences between synthetic and natural blocks; the various types of synthetic concrete blocks; the unique qualities of the pyramids\u2019 casing stones; and additional evidential facts of synthetic pyramid blocks; as well as bringing to light the even more outstanding details of the earlier incredible masonry works of Saqqara.<\/p>\n

Part V: The Three Snefru Pyramids consists of three chapters\u20149 through 11\u2014as follows:<\/p>\n

Chapter 9: Snefru\u2019s Meidum Pyramid covers its detailed exteriors and interiors.<\/p>\n

I have been reading quite a bit about the pyramids and the author does a pretty good job explaining differences between the true pyramids and the ‘pyramids’ that came after that.<\/p>\n

However, I felt like the book ended a bit short. He gave a hint in preview sample that there was a grand reason for the first six or so true pyramids to be built but then doesn’t fully explain in the book. Then also doesn’t go into full details how they were built.<\/p>\n

He does mention that the pyramids were some sort of energy channelers which I read elsewhere as well but how did the Ancients use the pyramids as an energy resource, is not fully explain.<\/p>\n

I did learn something new but was expecting a bit more. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

The author systematically tells us why others theories about the pyramids is false, often in very arrogant and self righteous language. Given such a bold approach one would think that he would offer equally bold theories about what the pyramids WERE FOR. But none is forthcoming. Moreover, there are lapses in logic. For example we are told that the blocks had to be man made, in part because it would have been impossible to construct ramps to raise quarried rock. Yet some of the heaviest slabs are pure granite weighing over 50 tons. How did they get there? Moreover, they are precisely cut to uniform dimensions, which the author gives as another reason that all of other blocks could not be quarried. For such arrogant language- repeatedly bordering on racism to Westerners- one would think the logic would be air tight, but clearly it is far from it. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
