Summary of Act 2 – Out of the Mouths of Babes!

a- Isis is sitting at the far corner of the stage tired and despondent while five young children are playing/dancing to the tone of ‘Yamama Byda” [an Egyptian Children folk song about the White Dove].  

b- The children noticed the sad conditions of Isis. They stopped playing, feeling sorry for the grieving Isis.They approached her to ask what was wrong?!

c- Isis told them that she is desperately looking for the lost Osiris. She asked them if they knew anything about the whereabouts of Osiris?

d- They told her to find him in a tree and pointed to her direction. The stage screen shows a magnificent tree!

e-Isis thanked the children and waved before leaving to follow their given direction.

f- The children went back to playing.
