Isis Rises Operetta – Act 6

Act 6 – Isis Rises

a- Isis enters the empty stage very sad and lonely. She [as Mother nature] starts crying and the stage screen will show the falling rain. Then the rain slows down to drops — stop raining — The Sun Rises in the sky.

b- To the tone of ‘Tel-et Ya Mahla Nourha Shams el Shamousa]: ‘The glorious light of the Sun[Isis] has Risen/appeared’ —- Isis rises from the ground and dances to the rising sun!.

She is then rejoined with the seven female dancers to continue the ‘Rising Sun’ dance – that ends with Isis triumphing above it all. The Typical Egyptian celebratory zaghareed fill the air, as the sun rises!

c- Isis and the seven female dancers provide the Grand Finale of the Rising Lotus Dance! The seven female dancers are wearing the typical female head band with a lotus flower attached to the headband, for this particular dance performance.

The performance ends with Isis being carried by the female dancers in triumph with the typical Egyptian celebratory zaghareed sounding off!
